MARTINI CADET MATCH

Rules:  These matches are shot in accordance with the rules listed in the National rule book and NSW by-laws. 

Rifle:                 - Any Martini Cadet rifle faithfully as close to original as possible,

                        - Built up or faithfully reproduced rifles and parts acceptable within spirit,

                        - Changes to calibre to suite commercial re-loading equipment accepted,

                        - Calibre must be of Military/Service origin. 

Distances:         25m, 50, 75m (or other selected distances). 

Ammunition:     30 rounds (or as advised). 

Target:              25/50m Precision Pistol. 

Positions:          Off hand, Sitting/Kneeling, Prone. 

Timings:            5 minutes at each range. 

Procedure:        25m – Fire 10 rounds from the Off-hand position in 5 minutes, 

50m – Fire 10 rounds from the Sitting or Kneeling position in 5 minutes, 

                        75m – Fire 10 rounds from the Prone position in 5 minutes. 

Starting:            There are no formal load etc commands.  Match referee confirms all competitors are ready, in a reasonable time, before the call “COMMENCE FIRE”. 

Scoring:            As per target values – X, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 ,1.

Score/count “X” ring hits to break tied scores as 10.1.
