The Fairlight shooting range is privately owned and run by SSAA Fairlight. It is a new range in a regional country location.
RANGE
There are separate rifle and pistol ranges on the complex:
Rifle Range:
- Firing positions back to 500m with mounds at every 500m,
- Fixed target gallery with stop butts,
- 7 target frames that take 4ftx4ft targets
Pistol Range:
- 1x 25m pistol range
- 1x 50m pistol range
ACCOMMODATION
- Accommodation is available at Moonan Flat in the Pub (9km west).
- Camping is permitted on the range. Conditions are rustic and campers are advised to bring water unless accommodated for by the range (call for details).
- Comfort fires are NOT allowed during summer or drought without expressed permission.

MAP TO RANGE
To find the range, head out towards Ellerston along Hunters Rd (don’t get too concerned about street signs). The range can be found approx 9km from Moonan Flats which is the last town before the range. If you come up to, or pass, the new Packer complex, you have gone about 1km too far.
