NOTE: Saturday, after shooting concludes, will be a NSW discipline special general meeting chaired by the NSW state discipline chairman.  Please try to attend.

FRIDAY     Practice and general sighting in from 12pm.

SATURDAY        Ammunition:     80 match rounds pp + extra 10 spare

Rifle:           Standard Military/Service As Issued (class A, B, C) – Iron Sights

8.00am:            Scrutineering, Briefing and handing in of “current” grade cards.  Non graded shooters welcome.

8.30am:            Warm Up – 10 minutes @ 300m - (supports allowed)

 

MATCH 1 – SSAA 3P CORE EVENT        (30 rounds total) (DC Sanctioned Event)

Course:            300metres – 5 rounds from the prone position                           1min

(WALK UP)    200metres – 5 prone, 5 either sitting or kneeling (10 rounds)     2min

            100metres – 5 prone, 5 sit/kneel, 5 standing (15 rounds)                       4min

Note:  No scoring or spotting between ranges – targets scored at match conclusion.

MATCH 2 – Local SERVICE RIFLE METALLIC SILHOUETTE

“NOEL CROSS MEMORIAL SHIELD”

NOTE:  NO FULL METAL JACKETS ALLOWED (for this match only)

Course:            100metres – Chickens              - 5 rounds prone           - 5 points per hit

(30 rounds in)   200metres – Pigs                      - 5 rounds prone           - 5 points per hit

(20 minutes)     300metres – Turkeys                - 5 rounds prone           - 5 points per hit

            400metres – Rams                    - 5 rounds prone           - 5 points per hit

                        Remaining 10 rounds for any silhouettes missed - 4 & 3 points per hit

MATCH 3 – SSAA RAPID FIRE B - 2 x 10 rounds with reload in 50sec (DC Sanctioned)

Note:  Matches 1 & 3 are SSAA NSW Military/Service Discipline Chairman sanctioned matches for NSW teams selection and GP.

 

MEDALS:      - Noel Cross Memorial Medals  - Winners, R/Up & 3rd for all grades,

            - Std Rifle Agg (Matches 1, 2 & 3) - Winners, R/Up & 3rd for all grades.

AGG TEAM SHIELD – AGG OF STD RIFLE MATCHES

-         Winning team based on top six (6) “off gun” agg scores from matches 1, 2 & 3 of City or Country,

-         Winning team is presented with shield - (Shield is hung at SSAA State Office StMarys)

-         Winners (gold) and Runners Up (silver) medallions awarded to each team member.

 Note:  CvC teams based on SSAA membership.  Sydney = City, Rest of state = Country

SUNDAY             Ammunition:     40 match rounds pp + extra

Rifle:           Modified/Accurised Military/Service (class H) – Iron Sights - (A, B, C rifles welcome)

8.00am:            Scrutineering and Briefing

8.30am:            Warm Up – 10 minutes @ 300m - (supports allowed)

MATCH 4 – SSAA 3P EVENT (M/A) (30 rounds)  (DC Sanctioned Event)

   SHIELD:     - Winner has name engraved on the 3P M/A perpetual trophy [stays at Mudgee].

MATCH 5 – SSAA ACTION M  (M/A)  (10 rounds in 1min)

 

MEDALS:      - Mod Rifle Agg (Matches 4 & 5)         - Winners, R/Up & 3rd for all grades.

Cost:  $35 for entire event.  Covers range fee’s, BBQ lunch, Patch and trophies. Just show up for the weekend.
