                                            2003 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

 

                       will be held 7th, 8th & 9th November 2003

                at the Hervey Range Shooting Complex, Townsville

Hosted by S.S.A.A. Townsville Branch.

 

 

Thursday 6th November   Sighting In from 0800hrs to 1700hrs

 

PISTOL PROGRAMME

Friday 7th November – Scrutineering from 0730

                                       Briefing 0830

                                       Competition 0900  

 

Class 1 & 2 Military/Service Pistols:   Class 1 to be shot first. Any shooter is able to shoot both Classes.

 

Event 1 – Standing Rapid Fire 15m – Open 1st, 2nd & 3rd (No Grading) & Juniors 1st, 2nd & 3rd  Certificates Class 1 & 2

 

Event 2 – 3 Range Core Event (Shot 25m, 15m, 7m) – 1st, 2nd & 3 rd  (Graded). Grand Master, Master, A, B, C & Junior 1st, 2nd & 3 rd National Medals.

 

Event 3 – 3 Position Deliberate 25m - Open 1st, 2nd & 3rd (No Grading) & Juniors 1st, 2nd & 3rd Certificates Class 1 & 2

 

Event 4 – 50m Long Range Deliberate  Prone - Open 1st, 2nd & 3rd (No Grading) & Juniors 1st, 2nd & 3rd  Certificates Class 1 & 2

 

Top Gun and Runner-up Open and Junior Top Gun

Teams – 1st , 2nd 

Top Gun and Teams will be based on the combined scores of all matches Class 1 only.

 

Special Event  (If time permits)- .310 Cadet Shoot following the pistol shoot. 1st, 2nd & 3rd.

Event 1Rapid Fire “A” Standard Rifle only. Open (No Grading) 1st, 2nd & 3rd. & Junior 1st, 2nd & 3rd.

 

Event 2 – 3P Core - Standard Rifle 1st, 2nd & 3rd (Graded) Grand Master, Master, A, B, C & Junior 1st, 2nd & 3rd  and Accurised Rifle Open (No Grading) 1st, 2nd & 3rd

 

Event 3Snap “B”200 metres – Standard Rifle only. Open (No Grading) 1st, 2nd & 3rd & Junior 1st, 2nd & 3rd

 

Event 4 – Rapid Fire “B” 100 metres - Standard Rifle Open (No Grading) 1st, 2nd & 3rd & Juniors 1st, 2nd & 3rd  and Accurised Rifle Open (No Grading) 1st, 2nd & 3rd

 

 

 Sunday 9th November – Commencing at 0800

 

Event 5 – Action “M”  100 metres - Standard Rifle only. Open (No Grading) 1st, 2nd & 3rd

 

Event 6 – 300 metre Deliberate (Long Range Event) Standard Rifle 1st, 2nd & 3rd (Graded) Grand Master, Master, A,B,C & Junior 1st, 2nd & 3rd  and Accurised Rifle Open (No Grading) 1st, 2nd & 3rd

 

Event 7 – SNIPER /TACTICAL RIFLE  SHOOT  - Class F1 & F2 over 500m Open (No Grading) 1st, 2nd & 3rd in all classes. Class T  500m (reduced size target ).

           

This Competition includes Teams Medals (1st, 2nd & 3rd), Top Gun Medal (1st & Runner-up) and Top gun Junior Medal & Runner up.

Top Gun and Teams will be based on the combined scores of all Standard Rifle Matches.

 

Nomination Fees

All Pistol Events  $30.00, all Rifle Events $60.00, all Events  $75.00,

Individual Events (including Accurised) $8.00 each, Juniors half price on all Event fees. 

Current SSAA Membership and Grading Cards MUST be produced at Registration.

No Grading Card – automatic Grand Master Grade. Nomination Closing Date 31st October 2003. All Competitors receive a Patch and Evening Meal Saturday Night

Accommodation Camping at the Range, Motel or Caravan Park available.
