- David thanked a number of people for their assistance, Frank Gasparini, Rick Gleeson, Roman Copot, John Waters, Grant Bayley, George Papallo, and Norman Parker.
- David thanked all the clubs that ran events during the year, noted encouraging signs from various clubs, but noted the difficulty of people making it to the shoots.
- David said their’s an amazing number of people in the event, including shooters that don’t shoot any particular format.
- David spoke about amazing trip to the US (Camp Perry), and all the lessons learned.
- David spoke about future of the discipline, future of the sport with regard to government convention, bans, etc.

General Business:
1). Discussion about State Championships location for 2006:
- State Championships will default back to Sydney if nobody takes it on.
- Mudgee is possibly interested
- Casino also possibly interested
- Need to know sooner, rather then later. Both interested clubs will let DC know in a
couple of weeks or asap.
2). DC contacts:
- The new DC would like to communicate better with the clubs.
- Perhaps keep in touch with club captains about regular shoots.
- Would like to establish routine emails with clubs – to get in touch with both DC and
Deputy DC.
3). Rule changes:
- The new rulebook has now been adopted – 2004 CSD rulebook.
- Noted that original motion that was raised at last years AGM to drop the NSW amendments to the new 2004 CSD rulebook, had been raised by Robert Irving, moved by Aubrey Sonnenberg, with the motion being carried unanimously.
4). Grand Prix:
- Rapid Fire B – barrel burnout – Action M instead?
- Must be shot according to the rulebook.
Motion: That at the National Championships AGM, the DC and DDC raise the option of shooting a half rapid fire B (say Rapid Fire C), in lieu of a full Rapid Fire B match.
Moved: Ray Harrold
Seconded: Robert Irving
Motion: Carried
5). 2006 Grand Prix:
- The 2006 Grand Prix series will likely consist of Rifle, with only the 3P Core event (dropping out rapid fire B as an event, except where local clubs want to run it). DC & DDC may contact club captains and work in a half rapid fire B as a trial in 2006, provided approval at National AGM.
- Pistol will remain unchanged – 3 Range + 3P Core.
