Sale of Firearms or Parts
The SSAA has been advised that the firearms legislation requires that any advertisement for the sale of any firearm or firearm parts (see definition below), must include your license number as well as the name and address of the dealer that you wish to witness the sale. "Definitions - Section 4(1) of the Firearms Act" "firearm part means a barrel, breech, pistol slide, frame, receiver, cylinder, trigger mechanism, operating mechanism or magazine designed as, or reasonably capable of forming, part of a firearm."
